COVID 19 Policies

  • Covid-19 Cancellation: In response to changing travel restrictions, Bright Velo is offering flexible cancellation terms for stay. At the staff members discretion, we will waive fees and offer a credit or refund for bookings cancelled due to Government enforced lockdown.   This does not include self-isolation due to contracting covid-19 or being a close contact.   Please contact one of our friendly team members if you have questions relating to your booking

 

TERMS and CONDITIONS

  • Accommodation Arrival time from 2pm   Departure time by 10am

Arrivals are strictly after 2pm unless prior arrangements are made with our friendly team at reception.   Charges may apply for early arrivals and late checkouts after 10am.  

  • Bright Velo is self-check-in, allowing guests the freedom to check-in to their suite at their leisure. Guests will receive a text and email on the morning of their arrival detailing check in information, including unique door PIN numbers, room number and how to find your room. There is generally one of our friendly accommodation team available between 9am-4pm and our Empire Dining team can assist during restaurant hours

  • A minimum stay period applies to all bookings in peak periods. All accommodation and facilities are non-smoking.

  • Bedding Luxury bath sheets and bedding, including sheets/doonas, pillows and pillowcases are provided to all beds.

  • Cots and high chairs We apologise but Bright Velo does not have cots, highchairs or foldaway beds available. Please contact Alpine Concierge on 0439389902 or www.alpineconciergebright.com.au for all your baby needs.

  • Cancellation policy For cancellations within 14 days from the arrival date the entire stay will be charged.   The no refund policy applies to all booking alterations once checked in. By booking with Bright Velo, you agree to all terms and conditions. All cancelled bookings incur a $50 cancellation fee.

  • Credits and re booking All credits are dollar amount not per night and are valid for 12 months from the date of cancellation.   Once you have rescheduled or booked with a credit the total booking would forfeit if you chose to cancel.

  • Rescheduling Policy All bookings that are outside of the 14 days period have the option to reschedule the dates of the booking.   If the booking falls within the 14-day period, there is no offer to reschedule.   For all bookings that have been rescheduled once before, the standard terms and conditions do not apply to this booking.   If you cancel or want to reschedule you forfeit the booking. (At staff members discretion and we are able to rebook your dates this may be waived)

  • Deposits and payments A 50% deposit is required upon making a booking with the full balance payable 14 days before arrival/* except for peak periods. Automatic deduction for final balance payment: Please ensure sufficient funds are available on the debit/credit card you have provided at the time of placing the initial booking.   If our attempt at deducting the remaining balance is unsuccessful, your reservation is subject to automatic cancellation.   For all peak periods, all fees must be paid in full at time of booking.   When booking online, booking payment terms are displayed.   Once the booking has been paid in full, there is no refund/credit on the on the decrease of nights stayed or visitors of the initial booking.

  • Pets We love pets, but our venue is not pet friendly. This is an all year around policy.   If this policy is breached, we will ask you to vacate the premises and if there are signs of a pet being inside the accommodation we reserve the right to charge a cleaning fee at our discretion.

  • Non-smoking   Please note our accommodation is all non-smoking.

  • Cooking facilities   There is to strictly no cooking in any rooms except for our Merckx three bedroom apartment. Microwaves, toasters and kettles are supplied in some rooms. BBQ’s, butane or gas stoves ARE NOT to be used in any rooms.

  • Accommodation All costs and expenses incurred or to be incurred by Bright Velo for any additional cleaning of the guest’s failure to maintain reasonable standards of cleanliness, tidiness and hygiene, including rubbish removal, all dishes and cookware cleaned and put away and any strong odours.   Unfortunately, if you don’t respect our facilities, you will be unable to rebook and you will be charged accordingly for all damages and extra cleaning. The amount charged is at the discretion of management. We thank you in advance for your understanding.

  • Secure bike storage Located on site, individual PIN numbers will be given to guests on the day of arrival, please do not prop door open.

  • Laundry,   We do have a laundry (1 X washing machine and 1 X Dryer) on site for all guests to use. It is free of charge. There is an iron and ironing board and clothes airers for guests to use.

  • Credit cards   Credit card details may be asked at the time of your booking or upon arrival to cover any incidentals for your stay.  

Luxury accommodation in Bright, Bright Velo in central to town and has a beautiful restaurant and whisky/wine bar on the ground level.
